I had only heard the first sentence of the quote before. All together (particularly thanks to the end-repeatal) it’s even more powerful. And it’s true.

its not true. why WHY WHY WHY i ask is indifference :”lack of interest, concern or sympathy” the opposite of all that? because someone is not interested/ doesn’t want to be bothered with something it does not make it the opposite. what if i am indifferent to hockey, does that mean its the opposite of hockey, that saying is proposterous

You have missed the point entirely, jason and Ale Parra, and that can only be for one of two reasons: Either you have no sense of the context of this statement, or you are indifferent to the context.
