Fragments of Life

Yey! A playlist serendipity has brought me back Roy Vedas’s wonderfully weird Fragments of Life (its weirdness is a fact). If I remember correctly it was Pako who first showed it to me, late nineties, and I hadn’t heard it in years (old, how past starts to pile up). Anyway, it’s definitely one of my favorite songs. Here, enjoy.

If you’re wondering about the lyrics, here they are (if you get any of this, please explain):

“Fool my case”, I said and she said:
“Back is not the fallen
You’re giving an angels gone and then
you’re suffering inside my blame
Full of in my heart taken source”

Something has observed me and my baby
Something has observed me and my baby
Taking what I got, it’s leaving me back
Taking what I got, it’s leaving me back
Something has observed me and my baby
Something has observed me and my baby
Taking what I got, it’s driving me crazy
Taking what I got, it’s filling me days in

Taken down, I’m falling back through the light
Taken down, I’m falling back to the time
Taken down, I’m falling back to me now
Falling back to me now

Don’t you recall, don’t you remind
Don’t you recall the fragments of life
Don’t you recall, don’t you remind
Don’t you recall the fragments of life

Something has observed me and my baby
Taking what I got, it’s leaving me back
Something has observed me and my baby
Something has observed me and my baby
Taking what I got, it’s driving me crazy
Taking what I got, it’s driving me crazy
