The much feared hard disk eating monster finally visited me and my backup shield proved assailable. My fellow new squire, Sam of the Macbook Pro clan, fell victim and much of our memories from the past month are gone. It’ll take a week for the wizards to bring her back.
In the meanwhile, my scroll work (webdesign) interrupted, the Tokyo kingdom beckons — though you’ll hear from me even less for a while.

Que onda char! que bueno que andas por alla, pase a tu blag a ver en que andas, a ver tus sugerencias de libros( empece con Flow hace unas horas) y a saludar. qe chido que stas en Japon y que te quedas un rato alla.

Mr Data Recovery ain’t hurrying, new hard disk hasn’t come.
Luckily, I insisted on keeping the computer until the new part arrived and some major geeking got me back my files! Managed to run OSX from a 16gb usb stick and then copied files with unix cp from my broken hard disk to my backup disk (CRUCIAL to use the command line here, it doesn’t abort a whole batch at the first broken file, like crappy Finder).Huzzah!
