This past 3day weekend I went to Vallarta with my family. Our main purpose was to see my paternal grandmother, who is in Parkinson’s terminal stages.

I revealed myself a klutz this morning with my very first eggy in the basket (yup, after V for Vendetta!). I followed this (incredibly simple) recipe and everything was looking pretty good

until it came to the turning:

Hot, frothy, cocoa and crusty birote (which is a Mexican bread that, in Guadalajara and in my lonely opinion, tastes a lot like a Manhattan plain bagel).

Nothing is meant with the title, it’s but a wonderful saying.

Warm beer, cold women. Black coffee, sweet cajeta.

Time to say goodbye to my incipient vegetarianism. Who am I kidding? I’m a man of the flesh.
