How’s everything going up north? I just wanted to share something with you, I found this very cool graph from the NYT that shows how the primaries between Obama and Hillary went down taking into account different variables. d:ego: Thanks for the link! I had stumbled on it and enjoyed it immensely, it’s very informative. I think, though, that it would be much more useful if all the graphs were displayed side by side instead of being buried under a click. They would be much more easily comparable this way.

I also thought of you recently, Richard Florida has a wonderful new book on cities, on how place has become more not less important, talent more not less clustered, and he has this interesting stat: “More than half of all fashion designers work in New York. The New York region is also home to a quarter of all jobs for brokerage clerks…. Three-quarters of the nation’s entertainers and performers work in Los Angeles, as do 25 percent of agents...”

If SF is the city for me —and it is—, LA is the one for you, no? :)
